Would you like to deepen your understanding of Constitutional & Humoral medicine?
M Salim Khan and Philip Weeks are offering a unique course that has not been available anywhere else before. This is a rare chance to understand the wisdom and principles of this ancient form of medicine. As this is primarily an oral lineage, most of the information is not available from textbooks but has been handed down from physician to student. We welcome you to follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest physicians of this tradition, Hermes, Hippocrates, Avicenna, Paracelsus, and Culpepper, to name but a few.

Module 1: Pulse, face and tongue diagnosis (1 day): 6 June 2009
Module 2: Lifestyle management (1 day): 7 June 2009
Module 3: Collection and identification of key medicines (2 days): 4/ 5 July 2009
Module 4: Energetics of food (1 day): 26 September 2009
Module 5: Herbal pharmacy: teas, electuaries and syrups (1 day): 27 September 2009
Module 6: Metabolic therapy for balancing humours (1 day): 24 October 2009
Module 7: Cupping therapy (1 day): 25 October 2009
Module 8: Emotions and spirituality (1 day): 7 November 2009
Module 9: Case histories, practice and clinic management (1 day): 8 November 2009

Structure of the course:
The course is run as a series of modules to give a rounded approach to this style of medicine; participants will be required to attend all of the courses. Upon completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate in Constitutional and Humoral Medicine from the Mohsin Institute.

Fees:
The cost is £1,000, also with the option of paying in 3 instalments. There are limited places available on the course, to secure yours, please fill in the application form and return with payment to: Mohsin Institute, 446 East Park Road, Leicester, LE5 5HH. U.K
Please Note: The fees cover tuition, course notes and morning/afternoon refreshments.

Venues:
All of the modules will be held in Leicester, except for the “Collection and identification of selected herbal medicines” which will be held in Herefordshire.

Further Opportunities

Brief Apprenticeship:
After successful completion of the above modules, there will be an opportunity for brief apprenticeship, 3 days with M Salim Khan, at his Leicester Clinic, and 3 days with Philip Weeks at his Hereford Clinic. This will cost £50 per day.
Mentoring: There will opportunities for participants to receive regular mentoring in order to develop professional skills and practise/ business development. Details will be available during the course.
Learning and development over-seas:
There will be further opportunities to travel and learn in India and Pakistan.
